YouTube has more than 80 million videos to delete, why did it take this step
New Delhi (Tech Desk) YouTube recently said that the company has deleted nearly 5 million videos. These videos were uploaded in the last quarter of 2017. The video sharing platform authorized by Google had already deleted these videos before viewing the viewers. This company would also have done this because it has been facing criticism for a long time to post inappropriate content from various governments.
Videos deleted before any videotape: YouTube reported in a report that 76 percent of the 80 million videos have been deleted even before 1 view. The steps were taken to delete these videos with immediate effect because it contained inappropriate or violent content.
YouTube Guidelines violation: There are approximately 93 million videos on YouTube which are violating the YouTube Community Guidelines. Most of these videos are in India. In this sequence, America is second and the UK is at number six.
